The Farm is a Building under the King of Nothing.
Every year it adds one unit to a troop plot right next to it. If there is more than one available troop next to the farm, the unit will be randomly added to one of the troops. The amount of total units the Farm may give each year is fixed, and will be randomly distributed between all adjacent troops, meaning, if the Farm is at level 3 and has 2 troops adjacent to it, the total amount of units distributed will still be 3, and there is a chance one troop will not get even a single unit.
Tips:
- A farm adjacency is best served with troops that naturally scale worse with units-gained on level up, such as Paladins, Warlocks, or similar.
- A farm adjacency with a troop can also be used effectively in combination with a Mangler, to completely offset the units killed by repopulating the given troop, letting the mangler tower scale it's damage linearly forever.
- It's worth considering the cost-benefit of using a farm with the number of years before the final siege. For example, Placing a farm down at year 1 will result in at least 30+ activations of the farm, while putting a farm down at year 30 could be better served by simply leveling up a troop, depending on how many units are granted per level up.
