The King of Blood is one of the 9 playable kings in 9 Kings. He is focuses on massive armies capable of swallowing enemy armies, but weak and disposable (Imp and Bomber), this king compensates you for destroying and sacrificing units, like increasing level of adjacents plots (Sacrifice) or increasing the tower's force (Mangler and Demon's Altar only when units die).

Cards

The King of Blood deck focuses on a large number of weak units, which have the ability to swallow up the enemy army.

Cultist

Start with +1 Imp card o hand.

Explosive

Bombers deal +20% damage.

Martyr

Carnage has +10% attack area.

Blighted

Cemetery summons have +20% HP.

Diabolical

Pagoda can summon +3 imps.

Summoner

All summons are 10% stronger.

Draculian

Life drain effects drain +5% life.

Butcher

Manglers have +20% attack area.

Pagan

Start with +1 Demon's Altar in a random corner plot.

Strategies

Jurassic Kamikaze

Demonstration of the jurassic kamikaze

The stategie consist in bomber, raptors and cemitery. When you put a raptor adjacent a bomber, the combined velocity make the bombers reach on enemy front line almost instantly, that combined all the explosion area, that, depending on the dificulty and the year, kill the front line interly, with the imps of pagoda and the cemitery kill the remaining units. For use this tatic with a maximum eficiency, use the decree firework the perk explosive and the tome Haste in the bombers. Use Blacksmith and Temple help a lot for extend the run, because this strategie could failed before the year 100.

  1. The king of blood was one of the first kings added, present on the itch.io version 3 kings
  2. There was a bug that made the King of blood extremely powerful, where the pagoda imps always dealt critical damage, and as they dealt damage at high speed, they killed enemies extremely quickly.
  3. the King of blood units are the only ones that do not have their quantities multiplied by 3 or 9
